The Langley Saxons soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting George C. Marshall Statesmen to 1 in the Saxons league victory on Thursday.
The Saxons now hold a 3-5 record. They play next when they host McLean for a Liberty bout on Monday, April 28. Langley will play a Highlanders squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Herndon (Herndon, VA). The Highlanders record now stands at 7-1.
With the loss, George C. Marshall moves to 2-6 on the year. The Statesmen host Wakefield (Arlington, VA) to play the Warriors in a Liberty bout on Monday, April 28. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Wakefield won 2-1 in their recent league bout against Yorktown (Arlington, VA)
