Washington High School Soccer - Gig Harbor knocks off Peninsula

The Gig Harbor Tides soccer squad scored 10 points and held the visiting Peninsula Seahawks to 1 in the Tides league victory on Thursday.
The Tides now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they host River Ridge for a non-league bout on Thursday, May 1. Gig Harbor will play a Hawks squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Bellarmine Prep (Tacoma, WA). The Hawks record now stands at 0-11.
With the loss, Peninsula moves to 1-7 on the year. The Seahawks travel to Central Kitsap (Silverdale, WA) to play the Cougars in a 3A South Sound bout on Thursday, May 1. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 8-2. Central Kitsap won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Timberline (Lacey, WA)
