Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA), 2-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Great Bridge moves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Hickory (Chesapeake, VA) to meet the Hawks in a Southeastern test on Tuesday, April 29. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 4-4. Hickory won 5-0 in their recent league test against King's Fork (Suffolk, VA)

The Bruins now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jamestown for a non-league test on Friday, April 25. Western Branch will meet a Eagles team coming off a 8-0 league win over Lafayette (Williamsburg, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-1.
