The Kempsville Chiefs soccer squad scored 6 points and held the visiting Northampton Yellowjackets to 1 in the Chiefs non-league victory on Thursday.
The Chiefs now hold a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Green Run for a Beach bout on Tuesday, April 29. Kempsville will play a Stallions squad coming off a 7-0 league loss to Cox (Virginia Beach, VA). The Stallions record now stands at 1-6.
With the loss, Northampton moves to 4-2 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Nandua (Onley, VA) to play the Warriors in a Eastern Shore bout on Monday, April 28. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Nandua won 7-0 in their recent non-league bout against Windsor (Windsor, VA)
