The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Berkeley Yellowjackets (Berkeley, CA) and the visiting Los Banos Tigers (Los Banos, CA), observed Berkeley's softball team get by Los Banos by a tally of 11-7.

The Yellowjackets (6-7) will now prepare for their bout against St. Francis (Sacramento, CA). The Troubadours go into the non-league bout with a 2-14 record. In their last bout, St. Francis was routed by Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA), 9-7, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the El Capitan Gauchos (Merced, CA) in a Central California Conference bout, on Tuesday, April 29. Los Banos will attempt to advance on its 9-12 season record. The Gauchos go into the bout with a 0-17 record after their 12-2 league loss to Golden Valley (Merced, CA).
