The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Bridgeport Indians (Bridgeport, WV) and the host Philip Barbour Colts (Philippi, WV), observed Bridgeport's softball team get by Philip Barbour by a tally of 8-4.

The Indians (5-9) will now prepare for their bout against Hampshire (Romney, WV). The Trojans go into the non-league bout with a 3-9 record. In their last bout, Hampshire was routed by Musselman (Inwood, WV), 12-4, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Colts battle the North Marion Huskies (Farmington, WV) in a Big Ten bout, on Friday, April 25. Philip Barbour will attempt to advance on its 7-10 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 7-12 record after their 16-7 league loss to Lewis County (Weston, WV).
