In Thursday's non-league match, the host Hanover-Horton Comets softball team scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Bronson Vikings.

The Comets (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Lincoln (Ypsilanti, MI). The Railsplitters go into the non-league match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Lincoln tipped Huron (Ann Arbor, MI), 22-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Quincy Orioles (Quincy, MI) in a Big 8 match, on Tuesday, April 29. Bronson will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Orioles go into the match with a 2-6 record after their 10-2 non-league loss to Mendon (Mendon, MI).
