Pennsylvania High School Softball - Bucktail edged by Sullivan County

The Bucktail Bucks softball squad (Farwell, PA), was edged 8-7 in Thursday's league contest with the host Sullivan County Griffins (Laporte, PA)

With the triumph, Sullivan County improves its record to 8-3 on the year. The Griffins host Northeast Bradford (Rome, PA) to face the Panthers in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 26. The Panthers enter the contest with a record of 7-5. Northeast Bradford won 12-7 in their recent league contest against Williamson (Tioga, PA)

The Bucks now hold a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Moshannon Valley for a non-league contest on Monday, April 28. Bucktail will face a Black Knights/Damsels squad coming off a 17-7 non-league loss to Tussey Mountain (Saxton, PA). The Black Knights/Damsels record now stands at 4-6.
