In Thursday's non-league match, the host East Poinsett County Warriors softball team scored a tight 8-2 win over the McCrory Jaguars.

The Warriors (17-4) will now prepare for their match against Pangburn (Pangburn, AR). The Tigers come into the non-league match with a 12-4 record.

In their next game, the Jaguars battle the Bay Yellowjackets (Bay, AR) in a non-league match, on Friday, April 25. McCrory will attempt to better on its 11-9 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the match with a 2-11 record after their 18-0 non-league loss to Manila (Manila, AR).
