The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Paramount Pirates (Paramount, CA) and the visiting Lynwood Knights (Lynwood, CA), observed Paramount's softball team notch a victory over Lynwood by a tally of 15-0.

The Pirates (10-10) will now prepare for their bout against La Mirada (La Mirada, CA). The Matadores go into the Gateway bout with a 20-4 record. In their last bout, La Mirada was routed by Orange Lutheran (Orange, CA), 13-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Bellflower Buccaneers (Bellflower, CA) in a Mid-Cities bout, on Tuesday, April 29. Lynwood will attempt to advance on its 2-10 season record. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a 6-12 record after their 21-6 league win over Dominguez (Compton, CA).
