The North Surry Greyhounds softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting North Stokes Vikings to 0 in the Greyhounds non-league win on Thursday.

The Greyhounds now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Surry for a Foothills 2A battle on Monday, April 28. North Surry will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 10-1 league loss to Forbush (East Bend, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-13.

With the loss, North Stokes moves to 5-12 on the season. The Vikings host Forsyth Home Educators (Winston-Salem, NC) to confront the Hawks in a non-league battle on Friday, April 25. The Hawks come into the battle with a record of 12-7. Forsyth Home Educators lost 5-0 in their recent non-league battle against Glenn (Kernersville, NC)
