The Yale Bulldogs softball team scored 9 runs and held the host Port Huron Red Hawks to 3 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Almont for a Blue Water Area battle on Tuesday, April 29. Yale will confront a Raiders team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI). The Raiders record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Port Huron moves to 4-3 on the season. The Red hawks host Port Huron Northern (Port Huron, MI) to confront the Huskies in a non-league battle on Friday, April 25. The Huskies come into the battle with a record of 3-1. Port Huron Northern won 17-2 in their recent non-league battle against Memphis (Memphis, MI)
