The Wilmington Hurricane softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Washington Blue Lions to 4 in the Hurricane non-league win on Thursday.

The Hurricane now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Goshen for a Southern Buckeye AA - American battle on Monday, April 28. Wilmington will confront a Warriors team coming off a 6-0 league loss to New Richmond (New Richmond, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 8-5.

With the loss, Washington moves to 1-13 on the season. The Blue lions host Miami Trace (Washington Court House, OH) to confront the Panthers in a Frontier Athletic battle on Monday, April 28. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 6-9. Miami Trace won 14-13 in their recent non-league battle against Cedarville (Cedarville, OH)
