Virginia High School Softball - Chincoteague bested by Middlesex

The Middlesex Chargers triumphed over the visiting Chincoteague Ponies softball squad by a count of 19-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Chargers play the Mathews Blue Devils (Mathews, VA) in a Tidewater challenge, on Tuesday, April 28. Middlesex will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record.

The Ponies (2-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Holly Grove Christian (Westover, MD). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Holly Grove Christian overcame Seaford (Seaford, DE), 21-11, in a non-league challenge.
