The Hoover Vikings baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Alliance Aviators to 2 in the Vikings non-league victory on Monday.
The Vikings (6-5) will now prepare for their match against Louisville (Louisville, OH). The Leopards go into the non-league match with a 9-7 record. In their last match, Louisville was overwhelmed by St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, OH), 7-2, in a non-league match.
The Aviators (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Salem (Salem, OH). The Quakers go into the Eastern Buckeye match with a 6-3 record. In their last match, Salem edged Girard (Girard, OH), 12-0, in a non-league match.
