The Quincy Blue Devils baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Beardstown Tigers to 6 in the Blue Devils non-league victory on Monday.
The Blue Devils (8-7) will now prepare for their match against Moline (Moline, IL). The Maroons go into the Western Big Six match with a 14-7 record. In their last match, Moline was edged by East Moline United (East Moline, IL), 5-4, in a league match.
The Tigers (13-3) will now prepare for their match against Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia (Concord, IL). The Trojans go into the non-league match with a 11-6 record. In their last match, Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia was edged by Routt Catholic (Jacksonville, IL), 2-1, in a league match.
