In Monday's non-league game, the host Port Jervis Raiders baseball team scored a tight 8-3 victory over the Chester Hambletonians.
The Raiders (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Goshen Central (Goshen, NY). The Gladiators go into the Section 9 Orange County III game with a 0-7 record. In their last game, Goshen Central was overwhelmed by Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY), 14-3, in a league game.
The Hambletonians (6-4) will now prepare for their game against Fallsburg (Fallsburg, NY). The Comets go into the Section 9 Orange County IV game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Fallsburg was overwhelmed by Livingston Manor (Livingston Manor, NY), 7-2, in a non-league game.
