The Midwest Central Raiders crushed the visiting Illini Central Cougars baseball team by a tally of 20-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Raiders now hold a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they host Illinois Valley Central for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 26. Midwest Central will face a Grey Ghosts team coming off a 15-9 non-league win over Hall (Spring Valley, IL). The Grey Ghosts record now stands at 13-7.
Next, the Cougars face the PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central Bluejays (Petersburg, IL) in a Sangamo bout, on Tuesday, April 26. Illini Central will attempt to advance on its 1-10 season record. The Bluejays enter the bout with a 9-11 record after their 15-5 non-league win over Lutheran (Springfield, IL).
