The Wilson Tigers baseball team scored 18 runs and limited the visiting Woodson Warriors to 0 in the Tigers league victory on Monday.
The Tigers (12-9) will now prepare for their match against Bell (Washington, DC). The Griffins go into the DCIAA match with a 4-8 record. In their last match, Bell was overwhelmed by McKinley Tech (Washington, DC), 11-1, in a league match.
The Warriors (1-5) will now prepare for their match against School Without Walls (Washington, DC). The Penguins go into the DCIAA match with a 11-2 record. In their last match, School Without Walls gained a win over Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology (Alexandria, VA), 10-0, in a non-league match.
