Connecticut High School Baseball - Ridgefield holds off New Canaan

Ridgefield Tigers (Ridgefield, CT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT), 5-1 in a league test.

With the win, Ridgefield upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to New Milford (New Milford, CT) to battle the Green Wave in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 26. The Green Wave come into the test with a record of 5-4. New Milford lost 8-0 in their recent league test against Bethel (Bethel, CT)

With the defeat, New Canaan falls to 5-5 on the season. The Rams host Stamford (Stamford, CT) to battle the Black Knights in a Fairfield County test on Wednesday, April 27. The Black Knights go into the game with a record of 4-6. Stamford lost 8-5 in their recent league game against Wilton (Wilton, CT)
