North Platte Panthers (Dearborn, MO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Northland Christian (Kansas City, MO), 9-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, North Platte upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Panthers host Mid-Buchanan (Faucett, MO) to clash with the Dragons in a Class 2 District 15 game on Tuesday, April 26. The Dragons go into the game with a record of 3-0.

The (5-8) will now prepare for their game against Bishop LeBlond (St. Joseph, MO). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Bishop LeBlond tipped Falls City (Falls City, NE), 6-0, in a league game.
