The Prairie Central Hawks baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Paxton-Buckley-Loda Panthers to 6 in the Hawks league victory on Monday.
The Hawks (6-12) will now prepare for their match against Centennial (Champaign, IL). The Chargers go into the non-league match with a 4-12 record. In their last match, Centennial tipped Peoria (Peoria, IL), 7-4, in a league match.
The Panthers (8-12) will now prepare for their match against Armstrong (Armstrong, IL). The Trojans go into the non-league match with a 4-7 record. In their last match, Armstrong was overwhelmed by Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman (Georgetown, IL), 6-1, in a league match.
