The School Without Walls Penguins baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology Colonials to 0 in the Penguins non-league victory on Monday.
The Penguins (11-2) will now prepare for their match against Woodson (Washington, DC). The Warriors go into the DCIAA match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Woodson was overwhelmed by Wilson (Washington, DC), 18-0, in a league match.
The Colonials (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Mount Vernon (Alexandria, VA). The Majors go into the National match with a 4-7 record. In their last match, Mount Vernon ran past Edison (Alexandria, VA), 4-2, in a league match.
