In Monday's non-league battle, the host Hancock Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the North Grand Eagle Owls.
The Eagles (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Taft (Chicago, IL). The Eagles come into the battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, Taft achieved victory over Kelly (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Eagle Owls clash with the Schurz Bulldogs (Chicago, IL) in a battle, on Wednesday, April 27. North Grand will attempt to advance on its 0-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 2-2 record after their 2-0 league loss to Lake View (Chicago, IL).
