In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting West Stokes Wildcats soccer squad scored a close 5-0 triumph over the Walkertown Wolfpack.
The Wildcats (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against McMichael (Mayodan, NC). The Phoenix come into the Mid-State 2A battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, McMichael nudged North Forsyth (Winston-Salem, NC), 5-3, in a league battle.
The Wolfpack (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Bethany (Summerfield, NC). The Wolves come into the non-league battle with a 0-14 record. In their last battle, Bethany was overwhelmed by Carver (Winston-Salem, NC), 4-3, in a league battle.
