The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Aspen Skiers (Aspen, CO) and the visiting Battle Mountain Huskies (Edwards, CO), saw Aspen's lacrosse team nudge Battle Mountain by a margin of 9-8.

The Skiers (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Resurrection Christian (Loveland, CO). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Resurrection Christian edged St. Mary's (Colorado Springs, CO), 14-5, in a league challenge.

The Huskies (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Durango (Durango, CO). The Demons enter the non-league challenge with a 1-8 record.
