In Monday's league test, the visiting Triton Regional Vikings lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-5 victory over the Manchester Essex Hornets.
The Vikings now have a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Pentucket Regional for a Cape Ann test on Friday, April 29.
In their next game, the Hornets face the Ipswich Tigers (Ipswich, MA) in a Cape Ann test, on Friday, April 29. Manchester Essex will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 3-3 record after their 14-9 league loss to Newburyport (Newburyport, MA).
