Washington High School Softball - Cascade bounces Shorewood

Cascade Bruins (Everett, WA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Shorewood Thunderbirds (Shoreline, WA), 6-2 in a league challenge.

The Bruins now sport a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they host Stanwood for a 2A/3A Wesco challenge on Wednesday, April 27. Cascade will face a Spartans squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Archbishop Murphy (Everett, WA). The Spartans record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, Shorewood falls to 12-4 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host Monroe (Monroe, WA) to face the Bearcats in a 2A/3A Wesco challenge on Tuesday, May 3. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a record of 10-3.
