Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Champaign Central Maroons (Champaign, IL) and the visiting MacArthur Generals (Decatur, IL), witnessed Champaign Central's softball squad prevail over MacArthur by a count of 13-3.

The Maroons now sport a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to Richwoods for a Big Twelve match on Tuesday, April 26. Champaign Central will face a Knights squad coming off a 12-0 league loss to Bloomington (Bloomington, IL). The Knights record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, MacArthur moves to 2-19 on the season. The Generals host Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL) to face the Crimsons in a Central State Eight match on Tuesday, April 26. The Crimsons go into the match with a record of 1-16. Jacksonville lost 11-0 in their recent non-league match against Camp Point Central (Camp Point, IL)
