Karns City Gremlins (Karns City, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting East Forest Bears (Marienville, PA), 6-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Gremlins now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Armstrong for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 26. Karns City will battle a River Hawks squad coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Deer Lakes (Russellton, PA). The River Hawks record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, East Forest falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Rocky Grove (Franklin, PA) to battle the Orioles in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 29. The Orioles enter the challenge with a record of 0-2.
