The Fulton Steamers softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Milledgeville Missiles to 4 in the Steamers non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Fulton improves its record to 6-7 on the year. The Steamers host River Ridge/Scales Mound (Hanover, IL) to clash with the Wildcats in a NUIC West game on Tuesday, April 26. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 2-7. River Ridge/Scales Mound won 17-6 in their recent league game against West Carroll (Savanna, IL)

In their next game, the Missiles clash with the Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders (Ashton, IL) in a NUIC East game, on Tuesday, April 26. Milledgeville will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record. The Raiders come into the game with a 0-8 record after their 17-0 league loss to Eastland (Lanark, IL).
