Sparta Trojans (Sparta, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Mansfield Lions (Mansfield, MO), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 17-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Billings for a Southwest Central challenge on Tuesday, April 26.

With the loss, Mansfield falls to 0-2 on the campaign.
