The North Branford Thunderbirds softball team scored 21 runs and limited the visiting Westbrook Knights to 0 in the Thunderbirds league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, North Branford moves its record to 5-4 on the year. The Thunderbirds travel to Berlin (Berlin, CT) to encounter the Redcoats in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 26. The Redcoats come into the test with a record of 7-1. Berlin won 8-2 in their recent league test against Middletown (Middletown, CT)

The Knights (1-8) will now prepare for their test against Old Saybrook (Old Saybrook, CT). The Rams come into the Shoreline - Large test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, Old Saybrook was routed by Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT), 21-0, in a league test.
