The West Shamokin Wolves softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Penns Manor Comets to 0 in the Wolves league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, West Shamokin improves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Wolves travel to Purchase Line (Commodore, PA) to clash with the Red Dragons in a Heritage game on Wednesday, April 27. The Red Dragons come into the game with a record of 1-5. Purchase Line lost 17-5 in their recent non-league game against Homer-Center (Homer City, PA)

In their next game, the Comets clash with the Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA) in a Heritage game, on Wednesday, April 27. Penns Manor will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Stingers come into the game with a 6-1 record after their 11-4 league win over United (Armagh, PA).
