St. Croix Prep Lions (Stillwater, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting South St. Paul Packers (South St. Paul, MN), 11-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Lions now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Maranatha Christian Academy for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 27.
With the loss, South St. Paul falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Packers travel to Tartan (Oakdale, MN) to face the Titans in a Classic Suburban challenge on Tuesday, April 26. The Titans enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
