Steinbrenner Warriors (Lutz, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Sumner Stingrays (Riverview, FL), 11-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 19-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bloomingdale for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 29. Steinbrenner will battle a Bulls squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over East Bay (Gibsonton, FL). The Bulls record now stands at 17-5.

With the loss, Sumner falls to 13-7 on the campaign. The Stingrays travel to Spoto (Riverview, FL) to battle the Spartans in a 5A District 12 challenge on Tuesday, April 26. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 7-10. Spoto lost 4-1 in their recent league challenge against East Bay (Gibsonton, FL)
