Missouri High School Baseball - Aurora loses to Mt. Vernon

In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Mt. Vernon Mountaineers baseball team scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Aurora Houn Dawgs.
The Mountaineers (9-7) will now prepare for their game against Verona (Verona, MO). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, Verona was overwhelmed by Blue Eye (Blue Eye, MO), 7-2, in a league contest.
The Houn Dawgs now sport a 3-11 record. They play next when they host Reeds Spring for a Class 4 District 11 contest on Thursday, April 27. Aurora will encounter a Wolves squad coming off a 13-0 league loss to Hollister (Hollister, MO). The Wolves record now stands at 3-18.
