The Blake Bengals baseball team scored 2 runs and limited the visiting Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons to 1 in the Bengals non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bengals (9-3) will now prepare for their match against Northwood (Silver Spring, MD). The Gladiators go into the Montgomery County 4A - North match with a 2-8 record. In their last match, Northwood was edged by Magruder (Rockville, MD), 10-0, in a non-league match.
The Barons (9-7) will now prepare for their match against Sherwood (Sandy Spring, MD). The Warriors go into the non-league match with a 13-3 record. In their last match, Sherwood tipped Quince Orchard (Gaithersburg, MD), 8-1, in a non-league match.
