Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the DeKalb Barons (Waterloo, IN) and the visiting New Haven Bulldogs (New Haven, IN), saw DeKalb's baseball squad edge New Haven by a count of 2-1.

Coming up next, the Barons play the Homestead Spartans (Fort Wayne, IN) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, April 26. DeKalb will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 6-5 record after their 9-6 non-league win over Hamilton Southeastern (Fishers, IN).
