The Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT) baseball trounced the visiting Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars (Bridgeport, CT), 8-0 in Tuesday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Nighthawks play the Immaculate Mustangs (Danbury, CT) in a non-league contest, on Friday, April 28. Newtown will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 8-2 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Pomperaug (Southbury, CT).

The Cougars now sport a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they host New Fairfield for a Southwest - Patriot contest on Friday, April 28. Kolbe-Cathedral will play a Rebels squad coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to Bethel (Bethel, CT). The Rebels record now stands at 6-5.
