The Yough Cougars baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Mt. Pleasant Vikings to 1 in the Cougars league victory on Tuesday.
The Cougars (10-3) will now prepare for their match against Armstrong (Kittanning, PA). The River Hawks go into the non-league match with a 11-5 record. In their last match, Armstrong was overwhelmed by Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA), 6-0, in a league match.
The Vikings (6-6) will now prepare for their match against Laurel Highlands (Uniontown, PA). The Mustangs go into the non-league match with a 4-8 record. In their last match, Laurel Highlands was overwhelmed by Ringgold (Monongahela, PA), 4-1, in a league match.
