The Toppenish Wildcats nudged the host Quincy Jackrabbits baseball team by a tally of 8-7 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats now hold a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Connell for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 29. Toppenish will face a Eagles team coming off a 8-0 league loss to College Place (College Place, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-6.
Next, the Jackrabbits face the Omak Pioneers (Omak, WA) in a 1A Caribou Trail bout, on Friday, April 28. Quincy will attempt to advance on its 2-9 season record. The Pioneers enter the bout with a 8-3 record after their 4-1 league win over Cascade (Leavenworth, WA).
