New Mexico High School Baseball - Sandia loses to Rio Grande

The Rio Grande Ravens baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Sandia Matadors to 8 in the Ravens non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Ravens (17-7) will now prepare for their match against Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM). The Demons go into the 5A District 5 match with a 16-7 record. In their last match, Santa Fe edged Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 15-5, in a non-league match.

The Matadors (15-9) will now prepare for their match against West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM). The Mustangs go into the 5A District 2 match with a 8-15 record. In their last match, West Mesa edged Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM), 4-3, in a league match.
