The Lyons Lions volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Proviso West Panthers to 0 in the Lions league victory on Tuesday.
The Lions now have a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hinsdale South for a non-league game on Wednesday, April 26. Lyons will meet a Hornets team coming off a 2-0 league win over Leyden (Franklin Park, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 13-5.
The Panthers (3-6) will now prepare for their game against Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL). The Blazing Trojan enter the non-league game with a 0-8 record. In their last game, Bloom dropped by Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, IL), 2-1, in a non-league game.
