The Deep Creek Hornets baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Oscar Smith Tigers to 0 in the Hornets non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Hornets (7-8) will now prepare for their match against Hickory (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks go into the non-league match with a 4-4 record.
The Tigers (1-6) will now prepare for their match against Lakeland (Suffolk, VA). The Cavaliers go into the non-league match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Lakeland was overwhelmed by Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA), 11-1, in a non-league match.
