In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA) softball team overwhelmed the host Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA), by a margin of 14-0.

With the triumph, Orange County moves its record to 8-1 on the year. The Fighting Hornets host Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA) to play the Black Knights in a non-league contest on Thursday, April 27. The Black Knights come into the contest with a record of 0-6.

In their next game, the Warriors play the Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, May 2. Western Albemarle will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record.
