St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish (Akron, OH) boosters exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA), 12-10 in a non-league battle.
The Fighting Irish now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holy Name for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 2.
In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Hickory Hornets (Hermitage, PA) in a battle, on Thursday, April 27. McDowell will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Hornets enter the contest with a 1-8 record after their 17-3 league win over Conneaut Area (Linesville, PA).
