Minnesota High School Lacrosse - Monticello drops to Moorhead

In Tuesday's non-league test, the visiting Moorhead Spuds lacrosse squad scored a good 11-2 victory over the Monticello Magic.
The Spuds now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Shakopee for a non-league test on Thursday, April 27. Moorhead will face a Sabers squad coming off a 12-7 league win over Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN). The Sabers record now stands at 3-0.
In their next game, the Magic face the St. Michael-Albertville Knights (Albertville, MN) in a Greater West Metro test, on Friday, April 28. Monticello will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 9-8 non-league loss to Wayzata (Plymouth, MN).
