Westlake Demons (Westlake, OH) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host Rocky River Pirates (Rocky River, OH), 8-6 in a league battle.

The Demons now have a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they host Bay for a Region 5 battle on Friday, April 28. Westlake will clash with a Rockets squad coming off a 9-6 non-league win over Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (Cuyahoga Falls, OH). The Rockets record now stands at 4-7.

In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Olmsted Falls Bulldogs (Olmsted Falls, OH) in a Region 5 battle, on Tuesday, May 2. Rocky River will attempt to move on its 7-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 10-1 record after their 19-8 league win over Avon Lake (Avon Lake, OH).
