Virginia High School Lacrosse - South County can't get by West Springfield

In Tuesday's league test, the visiting West Springfield Spartans lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-8 victory over the South County Stallions.
The Spartans now have a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Potomac for a Patriot match on Friday, April 28. West Springfield will play a Wolverines team coming off a 17-6 league win over Fairfax (Fairfax, VA). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-5.
The Stallions (4-8) will now prepare for their match against Fairfax (Fairfax, VA). The Lions go into the Patriot match with a 4-7 record. In their last match, Fairfax was tipped by West Potomac (Alexandria, VA), 17-6, in a league match.
